kidtalk

I had a date with my little tot yesterday. It wasn't planned but I heard him saying babi babi (Jollibee in his dictionary) a lot of times and I felt guilty because I could not remember the last time we went out together. Tired and broke, I managed to treat him and spend time with him as well. As I was dressing him up, I realized that he is not a baby anymore. Gone were the days of bringing extra shirts and towelettes and even milk. He now knows how to make porma and demands on spraying him some cologne before eventually going out of the house. I could not help but get sentimental and teary eyed when I saw the little rascal patiently waiting for me to finish dressing and fixing myself up. How time flies! I might as well savor every moment that I could hug and kiss him and tell him labyu.

I was watching the news last night and I noticed that Ms. Arroyo has gained a lot of weight. Too much political problems huh?

Cheers to the January celebrants! Ashma(4), Leejay(6), Mohd(9), Rafeef(10), Yami(11), Chad(13), Rene(18), Niño(18). May God shower you all with blessings and full of love.

I've been receiving a lot of compliments with my new 'do. Thanks to Relly of David's Salon Davao who happens to be my cousin. New hair means new life. I always believe in that.

I wish to have a good year this year. I didn't have a good 2005 but I'm thankful anyway. Thanks Lord for the people who passed by, stayed for a period of time, came back, left me for good, and especially those who are still with me up to now. They have made my life colorful in any way.

I feel good! And I hope this feeling stays.

p.s.

I didn't get my wish during the midnight mass(hey I completed the 9 days) but what the heck, it's not that important anyway.

I forgot to post yesterday that I am currently in Koronadal City, South Cotabato for a two night vacation with Aloy, my bro and my mom. Koronadal is formerly known as Marbel daw. As in the place of "Dole Pineapple" near General Santos City. I had a funny experience yesterday nga pala. It's actually my first time to stay here in Marbel so nung nasa bus kami, I saw a sign that says "Koronadal 1km" so I grunted, thinking WHAAAAT?!!? MALAYO PA PALA ANG MARBEL! Had I known that Marbel and Koronadal refers to only ONE PLACE, I wouldn't feel so tanga. LOL.

The place is okay, at least I can walk alone in the middle of the night without worrying about holduppers or rapists, I feel more secured here. Pero sobrang dilim ng place na ito! Walang lightposts, walang taxi, walang jeep. Tricycle forever. But it's better than Cotabato City anyway. Mainit nga lang ang place and THE SAND! As in buhangin ng dagat? Anyway, masyado akong reklamador considering that I like the place huh.

I miss my Bisaya friends. I miss talking to them in Bisaya, especially when saying the words giatay ka animal ngano imo man tong gibulagan nga gwapo man to og dato pa! hahaha! On my next post, I'll try to post in a Visayan dialect. Let's see kung marunong akong gumamit ng words. Ooooh thrilling...

Belated Merry Christmas to all!

For the past days, I was very busy with our Alumni Homecoming thingie so I really find it hard to go online. My Christmas was, as usual, boring. Same food, same routine, same ritual. Duh. Anyhoo, my tita fetched us up(with her new starex na pinagyayabang nya lol) at about 1am so we had some family bonding na rin. I had a mini concert, as expected, that lasted until 4am I think. I was the singer and Aloy was the dancer (yes he's awake). We're total performers! Mag-ina nga talaga.

Then last night naman, miracle of miracles, pumunta si Khan sa bahay. I was a bit surprised na rin. At least I was able to introduce him to my parents na rin. Ewan. I don't want to think about the so-called relationship muna. Basta lang when somebody asks me if I have a boyfriend, ang parati kong sagot eh, "Sa pagkakaalam ko, meron." Oks na yun.

Instead of going to senti mode, I'll just post some pics na lang during our planning/preparation for the Homecoming this 29. :)
